2010 PASCALL ‘CRITIC OF THE YEAR’
MARK
MORDUE
It was "a
packed house"
when Mark Mordue was announced as the winner
of this year’s Pascall Prize for critical writing.
The presentation of a cheque for $15,000 took place at the Sydney Writers’
Festival
on Saturday 22nd May 2010, preceded by a lively panel debate on the subject of
critical writing
“Don’t shoot me, I’m only the critic!”
We congratulate Mark, critic, writer and journalist,
whose critical works on music, film, literature, and art have appeared in
The Australian, Sydney Morning
Herald, The Age,
The Bulletin,
Rolling Stone and The Big
Issue.
