2010 PASCALL ‘CRITIC OF THE YEAR’

 MARK MORDUE

 

 It was "a packed house" when Mark Mordue was announced as the winner

of this year’s Pascall Prize for critical writing.  

 The presentation of a cheque for $15,000 took place at the Sydney Writers’ Festival

on Saturday 22nd May 2010, preceded by a lively panel debate on the subject of critical writing

Don’t shoot me, I’m only the critic!”

 We congratulate Mark, critic, writer and journalist,

whose critical works on music, film, literature, and art have appeared in The Australian, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Bulletin, Rolling Stone and The Big Issue.
